Had a great time representing the AI4Gov project at the DATAMITE Meetup 2025, hosted by the IT Innovation Center of OTE Group of Companies (HTO). I had the chance to showcase the AI4Gov platform to the attendees, who could then test it out and share their valuable feedback. ?? It was also great to see the progress of other EU-funded projects and witness the innovative work that has taken place. The panel discussions were incredibly interesting, sparking some great conversations around critical topics.?? The second iteration of the Decentralized Data Governance (DDG) model for the AI4Gov project is advancing decentralized data governance, emphasizing transparency, data provenance and reliability while adhering to GDPR guidelines. Two major improvements: ?? It finalizes the?architecture and prototypes that enable fully transparent data governance, along with the definition and execution of custom decentralized business scenarios using smart contracts. ?? It involves a deliberate?redesign and refactoring of both the codebase and the architecture to support a citizen-centric approach. This allows citizens to join the platform and participate in collaborative and co-creative processes within a framework that supports procedures essential to open democracy. ?? It was a very interesting panel discussion titled 'GenAI in Legal - GenAI applications and the #GDPR, #AIAct, and #DSA.
