STRATIFYHF EU Project aims to develop, validate and implement the first AI-based, decision support system (DSS) for risk stratification, early diagnosis, and disease progression assessment in heart gailure (HF) to accommodate both primary and secondary care clinical needs. The DSS will integrate patient-specific demographic and clinical data using existing and novel technologies and establish AI-based tools for risk stratification and HF prediction using machine learning. NeuroconexiON: segunda edición. Hubo debate... Hablamos de la inteligencia artificial y las nuevas tecnologías aplicadas a la enfermedad de Parkinson en un encuentro con neurólogos jóvenes. Los avances en la investigación de machine learning, wearables y otros sensores continúan con el objetivo de mejorar la detección precoz de la enfermedad y la monitorizacion de su progresión y respuesta al tratamiento. Compartimos nuestro ambicioso proyecto europeo AI-PROGNOSIS formado por 18 equipos, entre los cuales hay centros clínicos como el nuestro del SERVICIO DE NEUROLOGIA Hospital Ruber Internacional y también de ingeniería, física, estadística y ética. Vamos a realizar tres ensayos clínicos y utilizaremos Machine Learning para desarrollar tres aplicaciones de móvil?? 1) para detectar el riesgo de desarrollar la enfermedad de Parkinson. 2) para monitorizar la progresión de la enfermedad y la respuesta al tratamiento de personas con Parkinson. 3) para que los profesionales de la salud puedan recibir información relevante para la toma de decisiones terapéuticas de sus pacientes con Parkinson. Tenemos los ojos puestos en la inteligencia artificial que nos está ayudando a saber más sobre la enfermedad de Parkinson. As part of the AI-PROGNOSIS project, this study aims to develop digital biomarkers to track Parkinson’s disease (PD) symptoms, focusing on REM sleep behaviour disorder (RBD) and daytime sleepiness.?? Why is this important? RBD is a key early predictor of Parkinson’s disease. This study will track daily-life digital biomarkers from 90 participants across Germany, France, Spain and the UK, with the goal of improving PD detection and monitoring.???? Currently, the app can only be used by participants enrolled in the study across Germany, France, Spain, and the UK. The dBM-DEV study is part of the AI-PROGNOSIS project and focuses on developing digital biomarkers (dBMs) for #Parkinson’s disease symptoms, particularly REM sleep behaviour disorder (RBD) and daytime sleepiness. On October 22 and 23, the AI-PROGNOSIS Patient Panel participated in two focused workshops?to help shape the mAI-Care app. Eight participants from France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the UK – all living with Parkinson’s disease – reviewed possible data visualisations and shared insights on the app’s design and usability. The Patient Panel plays an essential role in our project as co-creators, providing insights to ensure our tools meet real needs. This group includes 13 members, averaging 52 years in age and 9 years since their Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Their experience and understanding of AI and eHealth help guide our work, making our tools more accessible and effective. With their input, we are improving the app’s design and planning further workshops to refine how data is displayed and make it as user-friendly as possible. #Parkinsons #ParkinsonsDisease #CoCreation #eHealth #digitalhealth #healthtech #userexperience #PatientEngagement #HealthInnovation #ArtificialIntelligence
