It’s time to get Waymo to build a larger presence in #Pittsburgh! Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is asking for public comment on newly drafted guidelines that could allow commercial highly automated and nearly driverless vehicles and remotely-driven vehicles to operate on PA roads. The #technology making this possible largely came from Carnegie Mellon University. It was great to join global, state and local leaders at AI Horizons Pittsburgh for discussions about how this innovative technology will propel novel ways to solve problems, build machines and uncover new opportunities. Pittsburgh is where what’s next in AI is happening now.

Yesterday was AI Horizons Pittsburgh. It was great! This sold out show was packed with so many eager AI enthusiasts. It bodes well for Pittsburgh!

As much as I love putting on events, I also love attending events ?? AI Horizons Pittsburgh was such a bolt of energy ? for Pittsburgh's AI Community. I loved tabling for Innovation Works and connecting with individuals about our services and programs that can take their startups further, faster. Not to mention, it was exciting to hear Josh Shapiro talk about the innovative things happening in Pittsburgh and PA. Can't wait to see what comes out of the region in the near future. Kudos to Walnut Capital, The Burnside Group, Google, & BNY for bringing the community together.
