AI@GT Summit: Recap! Thank you all for coming out to?AI?@ GT’s Fall?2024 Summit — the ultimate showcase of creativity, innovation, and collaboration in AI at Georgia Institute of Technology! We hope the demos from our project teams were engaging and informative. Special thank you to Konstantin Cvetanov from NVIDIA for being our guest keynote speaker! Here were our showcased projects: 1. Georgia Tech RAG Chatbot: A RAG based chatbot meant to answer any/all questions about GT student life 2. Multi Agent Interaction in Simulated Environment Using Knowledge Graphs: Simulating interactions among 100 NPCs to emulate human behavior 3. Collaborative Autonomous Multi-agent SLAM: Using multiple agents deployed in diverse environments for mapping and navigation 4. Intelligent Malware Detection using Static Analysis: Preprocesses 200k+ binaries into a dataset of control flow graphs And our new project for Spring 2025, in partnership with Microsoft: AI Observability with Continuous Learning:?Monitoring models in production is essential as changes in data can influence generative AI applications over time. This project will partner with Microsoft to help ensure that systems operate effectively by identifying issues like performance degradation and model drift and retraining models to ensure up-to-date information. What an incredible start to the semester for AI@GT! ?? We've hit the ground running with exciting new projects, a dynamic new team, and plenty of events for the Georgia Tech community. Georgia Tech RAG Chatbot 2.) Multi Agent Interaction in Simulated Environment Using Knowledge Graphs 3.) Collaborative Autonomous Multi-agent SLAM 4.) Intelligent Malware Detection using Static Analysis These projects will be making use of GT’s new AI Makerspace AND the mentorship of NVIDIA software engineers. We can’t wait to see what all our teams have in store! ?? We had an exciting start to the new academic year with AI@GT's Week of Welcome event: imagiAIne: Prompt to Picture! We welcomed first-year students with our first-ever in-person event, designed to introduce them to AI@GT’s innovative culture. The event featured an engaging prompt-to-picture challenge, where students used Copilot to generate AI-based images based on their prompts. The creativity and competition were inspiring, with the most accurate and imaginative prompts winning some fun prizes! ?? ??On August 27, we kicked off AI@GT’s first school year with an incredible turnout for our largest event yet, where we: ? - Introduced our board members - Launched our exciting projects for this semester - Hosted a fun Kahoot to see who knew the most about AI@GT, with prizes for the winners! - Opened up applications for members to become a part of AI@GT leadership! A huge thanks to NVIDIA for partnering with us and giving our members the opportunity to network with professionals from the company. It was a great chance for students to connect with industry leaders and explore potential career opportunities!
