One of our Board Members of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals, Incorporated (TM) had the chance to promote the benefits of joining the leading EHS and Hazmat professional membership organization in the country at the Aarcher Institute Environmental Compliance Navigator conference last week. When companies invest in their staff and encourage them to obtain an industry credential from one of several organizations, like the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, their staff become more knowledgeable from a regulatory perspective, which typically leads to higher job satisfaction, and usually increased salaries. The company becomes more compliant, reduces their environmental risks, and provides their employees a pathway to growth and development, which typically leads to staff retention resulting in long term business continuity.
