To celebrate #NationalMeatballDay, we’re sharing an easy-to-make, delicious recipe using premium British pork. ?? Prep time: 10-15 mins ?? Cook time: 21-24 mins Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork 1 onion, peeled and finely chopped 2 teaspoons garlic purée or paste 1 tablespoon dried mixed herbs 1 cup breadcrumbs 1/2 cup grated hard cheese 2 teaspoons oil 1 (14 oz) can chopped tomatoes 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup Method: 1?? Mix ground pork, onion, garlic, herbs, breadcrumbs & cheese. Shape into meatballs. 2?? Brown in a pan, then remove. 3?? Sauté onion, garlic & herbs, then add tomatoes, ketchup & water. 4?? Simmer with meatballs for 10 mins, then top with breadcrumbs & cheese. 5?? Bake at 400°F for 3-4 minutes until golden. 6?? Serve with pasta, crusty bread, or a fresh salad. #BritishPork #MeatballRecipe
