We recently wrapped our annual Core Ops Safety Training, where approximately 200 employees participated in hands-on sessions to reinforce critical safety protocols. This year’s training covered: ? Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Preventing hazardous energy accidents ?? Rail Safety: Rail Switch/System Safety ?? Emergency Response: Preparing for the unexpected ?? Applicator Simulator: A look at precision application ?? Jay Esser knows a thing or two about farming - he's the co-owner and operator of Esser Farms Inc., his family's farm that's been operating since 1932. Last week, Agtegra Cooperative Director Wallace Knock had the opportunity to speak on a Tax, Legal and Accounting panel on the topic of communicating with in-house and outside advisors at the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives Annual Meeting!

Happy National FFA Week! Many of our member-owners and employees have been positively influenced by the National FFA Organization, with many having once worn the blue jacket themselves or volunteering with the organization today. Hear how the infamous blue corduroy jacket impacted Agtegra Regional Manager Ethan Taube below! ?? "I had a passion for growing crops and agriculture at an early age; FFA was an opportunity to feed that passion and develop my understanding of the leadership of my peers. We had an amazing program that gave us exposure to much of modern agriculture and leadership development. The biggest learning through that time was that given the right skills and knowledge, you can create value out of something you might not have otherwise considered. In my time in FFA, I learned that there is so much opportunity for people in agriculture, even those who didn't 'grow up on farms'. Through the pursuit of my state degree, competing, serving as chapter leadership, and attending state and national conventions, I saw more of that opportunity than I could've ever imagined. Now, I look forward to my daughters participating in FFA in the future and creating their own lasting experiences!"

Agtegra Cooperative was honored to receive the Donor Legacy award from Mitchell Technical College Foundation at their annual Donor Appreciation Reception! In addition to supporting the school's agricultural programs and sponsoring Build Dakota students within their school, Agtegra team members have a long-standing history of being involved with the school's precision agriculture program. From Huron Agronomy + Innovation Center/Yale Area Manager Joe Airheart serving on their Precision Ag Advisory Board to Huron Innovation Center team members like Patrick Wetzel and Braxton Steffen providing hands-on instruction in the classroom on our planter build partnership project, Agtegra is excited to support students in their educational journey and aiding in providing them with real-world experiences as they prepare for their future careers in the industry. Thank you to Mitchell Technical College for this honor, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the future!
