New York’s grape growers and winemakers were using outdated vineyard data. The industry had nearly doubled in size since the last statewide survey. New York Wine & Grape Foundation stepped forward to champion accurate, up-to-date insights to support business decisions, research, and advocacy. And we stepped right up there with them, to make it happen. Here’s how we did it: ?? ?Combined satellite & AI-driven scans with direct grower surveys ?? ?Engaged the industry through targeted outreach & in-person events ?? ?Collected data from 257 growers reporting on 15,745 acres, identifying 53% of NYS’s 29,586 total vineyard acres Working in collaboration with Ag Access and Deep Planet, we’re proud to help the NYWGF and New York’s grape growers set a new standard for data driven decision making and insights.
