Curiosity! Checkout the web of conduits that takes to connect fuel cells with inverters, battery storage, power distribution, telemetry, and electrolysis! This ant-like network is carefully designed weeks ahead of construction taking into account spacing and potential interferences, especially when space constraints is a critical factor. Next phase is fuel cell equipment rigging and wiring! ?? Top: 3D model of fuel cells, ancillary, power distribution and other. ?? Aglow Power Field TV! Checkout a clip of Aglow’s internal training video where our technician demonstrates how Exothermic Welding is done on a ground-ring used to protect a hydrogen fuel power plant! Clips like these are created, editorialized, narrated, cataloged, and utilized in trainings across all of Aglow’s projects. The technique used here is a controlled powdered catalyst within a high-temperature crucible to weld a 350kcmil wire with power generating and power distribution equipment. In this clip, the wire is welded to the 10FT ground rod and when properly executed, the conductivity maintains less than 1.04 ohms resistance. This benefit is that it maintains high-conductivity with low resistance while limiting naturally occurring corrosions. These characteriscs are incredibly important for power generation assets because in a scenario of power surge, electricity flows to the path of least resistance. #electricalengineering #welding #hydrogenfuelcells #fieldtraining #lightningprotection #nationalcontractor #ISO9001 #NFPA70B

  • Project Update! Today we are proud to announce that Aglow Power recently partnered up with AmeriTech Contracting LLC to procure and develop a major Tier 2 24KV Medium Voltage system upgrade for the VAMC of White River Junction, VT! The project includes upgrading an 8-cabinet switchgear, performing voltage and amperage study, upgrading disconnect switches, and other ancillary equipment that has been bartered by recent floods in the region. We’re excited to bring Aglow’s subject matter expertise and service excellence to the Green Mountain State, a much anticipated shift into utility-scale capital improvement sector. Our team mobilize in early October! **Image here represent Aglow’s internal 3D representation of the switchgear to emphasize electrical/telemetry details, equipment characteristics, and spatial representation for development augmentation. Another IMTS - International Manufacturing Technology Show in the books! Every year our team flies out to Chicago to attend one of the world’s largest industrial trade show to meet with clients, listen to industrial leaders, and shop for new equipment/software. This year, our team arrived with a mission to ask different vendors how their technology could solve one of our most pressing technical challenge: During the investigation process of an existing switchgear or electro-mechanical equipment; can your technology scan, augment, and stream pertinent information in real-time for remote diagnostics? Similar to tele-health and medical collaboration, our team is finding ways to harness top-grade subject matter expertise input through real-time streaming for remote diagnostics. The primary motivation is to solve the challenge of troubleshooting complex situations on the field where often only one perspective is provided or higher costs are incurred by deploying multiple technicians onsite. Due to Aglow’s national footprint, streaming granular visual and diagnostics data to our various experts across the country, as well as internationally, is becoming a increased necessity. With this approach, we expect to improve service quality by harnessing multiple professional input, increase quality of diagnostics, reduces service costs, and provide quicker options to clients. We’ll be sorting through all products and processes over the next few days and will launch a pilot as soon as the next quarter! ?? #1 — Jay Cunha posing in front of the IMTS portal. ?? #2 — field team in full PPE performs bus flag inspection of a HOT switchgear. Using a diagnostic technology would stream visual and functional data to our broader team ?? #3 — panel of industry leaders discussing AI innovation in manufacturing sector. ?? #4 — immense volume of professionals from all over the world converging in Chicago to exchange ideas and innovation. ?? #5 — DOT from Boston Dynamics showcases its onboard sensors geared at predictive maintenance.

24Q3 Warehouse & Distribution Center Electrical Design Concept Release! Check-out our latest Industrial Electrical & Future Proof design concept released this quarter! Rethinking designs from a tenant (or end-user) point of view, our engineers have focused on the four key criteria: 1. Future Proof: More and more businesses are rolling out policies to meet benchmarks in energy efficiency, typically manifested through LEED certifications or ESG-compliance, but that's just scratching the surface. To this end, our first design criteria is a predictive-maintenance-ready system that provides REAL Industry 4.0 solutions where tenants can seamlessly implement to their operations. The benefits include: cost savings in the range of 20% to 30% between insurance policies on a NNN-lease structures, ISO-9001 compliance, and state/federal stipends and tax breaks. 2. Alternative Energy: Solar, hydrogen fuel cells, geothermal, and battery storage are no longer a 'luxury' feature only used by federal agencies or private conglomerates. Parts are cheaper, labor is accessible and a reliable and independent energy sources saves million in unplanned downtime. Thus, the second design criterial is picking the right equipment and ergonomically positioning assets in a manner that doesn't require a complete overhaul for implementation. The high costs of reformatting an electrical room or upgrading critical equipment typically disqualifies the majority of companies that are actively looking to implement their own microgrid. 3. Procurement: Future-proofs and alternative energy is an immense market advantage, but nothing kills an idea faster than having inaccessible parts due to market challenges, scarcity, or outsized budgets. However, an ever worse scenario, from a landlord perspective, is having potential tenants opting-out of a lease because downstream material (e.g. subpanels) have an even longer lead-time. Because the market is seeing up to 30-week horizon on such parts, it may be too long for tenants to get their facility open for production. Third criteria focuses on Tier 1, 2, and 3 parts and existing technology that can interface between various brands with acceptable timing. 4. Maintenance and Total Cost of Ownership: Heat Temperature Losses in clustered electrical rooms, stuffed conduits, and inadequate cooling accounts for a textbook 15% to 25% energy losses to brand new facilities. Efficiency technology is ubiquitous, but like many things, it depends on the user. Our fourth criteria addresses the 'electrical endocrine system and arteries' of the building by focusing on letting wires 'breathe' with upsized conduits, more wire troughs in dense areas, substitution of heavy cooling equipment with low-HVLS fans and exhaust fans for 'hot zones', and placing certain equipment exteriorly for natural cooling conditions. #electricalengineering #systemengineering #microgrids #futureproofs #NFPA70B #iso9001 #LowCostSolutions #passivesolutions

Progress in the Industrial Warehouse Front! Our team is wrapping up final power connection with Eversource Energy on three (03) build-to-suit warehouses in Somersworth, NH! Underground conduits, meter bank, and point of contacts passed inspection and now we await power commissioning. We are also happy to share that we’ve secured two (02) 2000A & two (02) 3000A switchgears last quarter from a supplier through a strategic ‘wholesale purchase’ in effort to readily deploy assets to our industrial partners and curtail long lead-times. This year alone we’ve seen a dozen of CREs and industrial investments get pushed to 2025 and beyond because of material shortage — a market-wide challenge. However, we’ve also been able to pickup last minute contracts (even an abandoned ones) because of material-readiness and ability to quickly onboard competent staff. We look forward to sharing our final design-and-build results with our community in the coming days! #electricalengineering #industrialdesign #energysector #powerdistribution #supplychainsolutions #siemens #eaton #hillphoenix #prostock #distributorstatus
