We have a lot to celebrate as we close out Black History Month and enter Women’s History Month!? ? We’re thrilled to announce that the Community Fund focused on caregiving: CareWorks Fund, has selected grantees for their first round of grantmaking, dedicated to organizations led by and focused on Black and African care workers? ? A total of $6,000 has been awarded to the following charities:? Aging 100, His AhmayesIng Grace, Volunteering for Seniors Inc (VFS) A 501(c)(3) organization ? ?? The CareWorks Fund is a caregiving, end-of-life, and bereavement fund led by women of color, for women of color, who lead culturally adapted workforces & service solutions. Led by Renea Banks and founded by Paurvi Bhatt, MPH, this first of its kind fund focuses on culturally diverse solutions to the care economy.?? ?? Their mission is to elevate our collective knowledge of care organizations led by diverse women working to strengthen the workforce, the services, and the support needed for culturally and ethnically diverse populations.?? ?
