Congratulations Cyclyx! We are thrilled to reach the Final Investment Decision for the second Cyclyx Circularity Center (CCC2)! ?? Together, Agilyx, ExxonMobil, and LyondellBasell are investing $135 million into Cyclyx to fund the construction and operations of CCC2. Agilyx’s $67.5 million investment reflects its 50% interest in Cyclyx and is fully funded through recent equity and green bond financing transactions. CCC2 is expected to commence operations in the second half of 2026. Once operational CCC2 will: - Have the capacity to produce ~300 million pounds of plastic feedstock annually for mechanical and advanced recycling technologies - Create more than 100 jobs in the local economy - Accept a wide range of plastic waste streams Read the full press release here ??https://lnkd.in/ePw3sbxb

Congratulations, ExxonMobil our partner in joint venture Cyclyx International, LLC., for their announcement to plan further investments in the advanced recycling sector, increasing advanced recycling rates and diverting plastic from landfills! An investment of $200 million in their Texas facilities will add 350 million pounds per year of advanced recycling capacity, proving advanced recycling works at scale, helping establish a circular economy for plastics and reducing plastic waste. The company plans to reach a global recycling capacity of 1 billion pounds per year by 2027. This month our talented team members Mitchell Louis, Celeste Craciun, Mike Cote, and Chris Faulkner celebrate another year with Agilyx. Their contributions have been instrumental in our success! Our Process Engineer II, Mitch Louis, directly contributes to our effort of diverting plastic from landfills by optimizing our recycling processes and depolymerization technology. His work is instrumental in advancing our efforts toward a circular economy. As Agilyx’s HR General Specialist, Celeste Craciun fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment. She helps build and empower the teams that are at the forefront of developing our sustainable recycling solutions. Fabrication Project Manager, Mike Cote, is also essential to our mission. He oversees the design and production of advanced recycling systems and ensures our solutions are efficient, scalable, and capable of turning plastic waste into valuable resources.
