It��s the final day of Black History Month here in the western hemisphere, and while it always comes a little too soon, we chose a send off that we think is more pertinent now than ever: Today we are highlighting the monumental career impact of Dr. Sherman Jones. Dr. Jones is one of the foremost public health Epidomiologists in recent American history, who can be attributed for these priceless discoveries and achievements: 1) The discoveries of segregations indelible impact on measurable degradation of cardiovascular health for those who are oppressed by it. He dubbed ��high effort coping��; its impacts could be both observed and measured as damaging to the heart health over time. Credit to Fort Bend County Health & Human Services for highlighting this on their social media accounts last year. 2) This set the basis for the telomer breakthrough discoveries of such recent theories as ��Weathering�� (a pertinent recent report is here, courtesy of Nature Magazine: https://lnkd.in/eJtYXDUG ) whose foundations were first established in Dr. Jones ��John Henry Theory��.
