In 2021, Courtney N. Moran, LL.M. passed her seventh consecutive bill, legalizing the use of hemp in animal feed in the state of Montana on behalf of Agricultural Hemp Solutions' client, IND HEMP. Courtney worked closely with the Montana Department of Agriculture and formed partnerships with and gained the support of the Montana Farm Bureau Federation; Montana Farmers Union; Montana Stockgrowers Association; and the Montana Grain Growers Association in the process. In 2018, Agricultural Hemp Solutions was hired by Ancient Nutrition to legalize hemp in Missouri after the successes in both Oregon and South Carolina. Overcoming prohibitionist fears and negotiating for a thoughtful, comprehensive framework that would support farmers throughout the state, Chief Legislative Strategist and Attorney Courtney N. Moran, LL.M., alongside a local lobbyist, saw that HB 2034 was signed into law on June 1, 2018.
