The Association of Georgia General Aviation Airports is an industry association for general aviation airports and its corporate affiliates, established in 2021 to promote general aviation airports in the State of Georgia, promoting progressive legislation, information sharing, and education.

Yesterday, the Georgia Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Working Group met to discuss the results of the Georgia DOT AAM Study, specifically the AAM Action Plan which will help Georgia prepare for AAM over the next 3-5 years. The Working Group was divided into subcommittees to discuss the tasks required to achieve the actions outlined in the AAM Action Plan. For example, to develop an AAM workforce, how can the industry partner with high schools to introduce AAM concepts? Time…flies… when you’re having fun and there’s work to be done…. Especially when the work is fun. ?? I had the great distinction of being nominated and installed as the Chairman of the AGGAA -Association of Georgia General Aviation Airports for the 2024-2025 year at our annual conference a few weeks ago in Columbus, Georgia. As someone who’s only been in aviation for four years, it was such a HUGE, yet humbling, honor that my peers and colleagues felt that I can successfully lead our organization into the next year of making General Aviation in the state of Georgia as great as we possibly can. The ideas are flowing and I am so excited at what the Board of Directors of AGGAA are planning to take this organization to the next level; not for us, but for the 95 GA airports that make up this system in our state. Our success is only measured in the wins of every airport in our state that we can help to grow and be as best as it can be. It’s my hope to lead the charge in this mission the only way I know how - Dream big, like REALLY big, work hard, facilitate relationships, and do the very best job I can toward the common good with the help of everyone around me. Teamwork makes the dream work. I hope in 365 days we can say we have made substantial progress, and I am thankful for everyone who believes I can help facilitate that. I hope we make you proud. ??
