?? ??Our Lucien Blaser and Rachel Bührer-Hershey recently facilitated the 38th AGUASAN Workshop together with Helvetas, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit (SHA), Eawag, and Human Right 2 Water. Participants from 16 countries exchanged wide-ranging experiences and practical ideas as they investigated the question, "How do we strengthen WASH systems to deliver sustainable and resilient WASH services in contexts of humanitarian-development nexus?". ? Case studies from Haiti, Mozambique and the human rights-based approach to water brought discussions to a practical level. Together with key inputs from the International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC, Agenda for Change, and the German Toilet Organization, these provided a backdrop for participants to propose key characteristics for successful integration of the nexus and systems strengthening. ? At Skat, we combine consulting services, project implementation and knowledge sharing to create powerful synergies at events such as the AGUASAN Workshop series: https://lnkd.in/e7WEZffJ Stay tuned for the 2024 workshop report, coming soon! #WASH #HumanitarianDevelopment #HumDevNexus #WaterSecurity #SkatImpact
