Reflecting on this incredible journey, I’m proud to share that our project, ZeroK (formerly known as zkGraph), won the BNB Q3 Hackathon Cohort! ?? ZeroK focuses on building a ZKML framework for ONNX graphs and a decentralized network to outsource computation securely and efficiently. These ideas represent a transformative step toward integrating AI, blockchain, and zero-knowledge proofs to create scalable, privacy-preserving solutions for the decentralized world. People are still skeptical about AI tools and they will be the ones left in the dust. Those who are meek at adopting AI tools will NOT inherit the Earth. While everyone's obsessing over vector databases, there's a new player in town that's about to steal your girl: Graph DBs. Let me explain why they're the missing piece in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems. Current challenge: Most RAG setups use vector databases, which excel at semantic similarity search but fundamentally struggle with relationship comprehension (like that friend who remembers every detail of a story but completely misses the point). When your data is scattered across multiple documents, crucial context and relationships get lost in the embedding space. Enter Graph Databases ??? Imagine: "Arya is friends with Jon Snow. She enjoys sword fighting but dislikes court politics. Jon has a direwolf named Ghost.." In a traditional vector DB, this information exists as disconnected embeddings. More Natural Data Relationships: Direct representation of complex, multi-hop relationships. Better Context Preservation: Maintain hierarchical and temporal data structures. Imagine asking about “Jordan”—the AI can determine whether you mean the country, the athlete, or the sneakers based on the conversation’s context. ? Real-time Graph Modifications: Add nodes and edges through natural language. Picture an AI that consumes and understands news in real-time, and maintains a knowledge graph of what is happening in the world.
