We're thrilled to see AgelessRx's own Girish Harinath recognized at the ARDD conference for our work in the PEARL Trial, the largest human Rapamycin trial to date. This is an exciting step forward for longevity research, and we couldn’t be prouder of Girish and the team for their dedication to advancing longevity science. Stay tuned for a detailed summary of the trial data in the near future. Great things ahead! #ARDD2024 #LongevityResearch #Rapamycin #ClinicalTrials #AgelessRx #Healthspan
What a great ARDD conference! Here are Rapamycin key highlights from it. ? Linda Partridge: Has discovered that combining Rapamycin and Trametinib result in good lifespan effects in both mice and flies. Next step is clinical trials to see if this translates to humans. ? Yousin Suh: Is conducting a human clinical trial to see if Rapamycin can slow ovarian aging and delay menopause. They need 10 more females for the trial. ? Andrea Maier: Will start a human clinical trial on Rapamycin. Currently one big challenge is to find a placebo pill for Rapamycin for a good price. Please contact her or me if you can help out here! ? Team Piotrowski: Marek and his son have done an amazing worldwide trip and interviewed key people in the field for an upcoming documentary! They have even visited the island Rapanui where Rapamycin was discovered. ? Eric Verdin: One great step in the field is that Eric at the Buck Institute is fundraising for an interesting human clinical trial around Rapamycin. More information on that in the future. ? David Luu: Has started the Longevity Docs initiative which is a great network for longevity physicians. This network will have an important impact on practice around longevity medicine and clinical trials which one or the other way will move the research around Rapamycin forward. So if you are a longevity physician join this network! ? Brian Kennedy: Some may not know that he is a co-founder of Ora Biomedical. The Rapamycin Longevity Lab has partnered with this company and we will use their WormBot-AI technology to screen 568 mTOR inhibitors. We just need to fundraise 25k USD to start that project. Contact me if you want to help out! ? Girish Harinath: Great researcher at AgelessRx and they have just recently published the human clinical trial data around the largest Rapamycin trial, PEARL. Stay tuned for a future post where I summarize the data. ? Aubrey de Grey: I talked to Aubrey and Caitlyn Lewis who are doing important and unique research around combinational therapies in mice. Rapamycin is one of the study arms but also stem cell therapy and gene therapy. They are fundraising now for their second combinational therapy so please help out there! ? Kamil Pabis: He has done some real interesting research, tries to push the Rapamycin research forward in different ways and on top of that he has a great podcast “The Aging Science Podcast by VitaDAO” that I highly recommend to check out. ? Raghav Sehgal: This researcher is putting the puzzle pieces together in a really impressive way when it comes to efficiently validating if an intervention works or not in humans. I think he may have a good chance in discovering what specific targets Rapamycin impacts in a successful way in humans. ? Parminder Singh: Is doing an interesting study on the combination of Rapamycin and the supplement GLYLO. This supplement reduces toxic effects of sugar by reducing Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs). See you there next year!
