The use of ag data continues to evolve at a rapid pace. How do farmers feel about how data is being collected and used? What are their wishes for their tech providers and collaborators? As the year winds down, the analyzing of ag data "winds up." ADT Board member Dan Mongeau of Indigo shares insight on the topic of sustainability and how programs rely heavily on #AgData, reinforcing the importance of transparency, simplicity and trust promoted by ADT.

What do ag technology companies do with a farmer's data - and how do they do it? These are crucial questions that ADT-certified companies answer for their customers via the ADT process. ADT Board Member Dan Lussier who is Director, Canadian Agri-Food Data Initiative for EMILI, asserts that ADT is helpful in bridging this gap - listen in!

Organizations who don't directly collect agricultural data yet are vested in its use become supporting members of our organization. Farmer-led organizations such as the Canadian Federation of Agriculture are thought leaders in the #AgData space. Their recent report contains significant insight - such as the following summary statement: "The integration of data and advanced analytics promises to significantly enhance the productivity, sustainability, and resilience of Canadian agriculture. Achieving this potential requires concerted efforts from both public and private sectors to establish a supportive policy framework and invest in the necessary infrastructure and standards. By taking a proactive leadership role, these sectors can ensure that agriculture meets global food demand in an environmentally sustainable and economically viable manner."
