Thirty75 Tech in Santa Clara has a unique sunshade system inspired by The Matrix. The system was originally designed to have an anchor with a through-bolt connection requiring access from the exterior side of the building with a mobile crane and two boom lifts in the plaza. Our design team developed an anchor design allowing the connection to be made by personnel working from the catwalk behind the sunshade system. This eliminated the need for boom lifts in the plaza, reduced the labor requirements for installation, increased the units installed per day and opened the plaza for other trades to work simultaneously. Exciting work over at UC Berkeley with some great partners!

Last year, we launched our Employee Ownership Committee, built on four pillars: engagement, community, education, and celebration. In honor of #EmployeeOwnershipMonth, our team took a half day last Friday to give back to the community. Our Livermore team packed carrots at the Alameda County Community Food Bank. During the shift, 26,120 pounds of food were packed, which means 21,418 meals will be distributed to our local community. In Clackamas, Oregon, our team volunteered at Habitat for Humanity Portland Region ReStore. They spent the day building furniture, organizing inventory, and loading and unloading items. The Temecula team participated in a Brush with Kindness event, painting the home of a senior in Menifee with Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley. We are proud to support our local communities. #EmployeeOwned #Community
