Ever heard of the Losada Line? It refers to a concept based on the research by psychologist Marcial Losada which shows that it takes about 3 positive interactions to 1 negative interaction to contribute to high performance, productivity and strong relationships. And if you’re really getting into it - high performing teams have a ratio of 6:1. Interestingly, most people are getting mostly “neutral” interactions - not positive and not negative, just kinda “meh” and about their business. This also impacts overall employee engagement. So managers out there: How many positive interactions do you have with your direct reports? How regularly do you provide positive feedback and recognition on effort or achievement? Have you expressed gratitude and appreciation for their contributions? Workplace wellbeing isn’t just about productivity—it’s about cultivating JOY. This month’s blog, Wellbeing at Work, highlights how one company is making mental health support truly accessible, giving employees the tools to say yes to what matters and no to what doesn’t. Earlier this month, we hosted an open cohort of our flagship program, Strengths-Based Leadership—and wow, what a group! Thoughtful, engaged, and ready to grow. We were especially moved by this incredible review: "AG Collaborative's 'Strengths-Based Leadership' course was truly transformative. It took me from a surface-level understanding of my abilities to a deep awareness of how to confidently harness my unique skills and lead. Greg and Abbey's facilitation created an environment of authenticity and kindness, fostering honest conversations among peers. Their approach made my learning experience not just comfortable but profound. Since the training, I've found myself confidently taking on new challenges, with a genuine belief in my abilities from the practical insights I gained. This course didn't just teach me about leadership; it empowered me to embrace and apply my strengths in meaningful ways." ? This is exactly why we do what we do. If you’re ready for this kind of transformation, check out our What’s Ahead page and join us next time --> https://lnkd.in/gr5Wf9kS

We had a great group of leaders join us for MLAB in our offices recently! These open cohorts provide a unique opportunity for managers to connect across varying industries and experience levels. 100% of participants noted that they were a better leader because of the experience AND that they will apply what they learned. Curious about joining an upcoming program? You are in luck, we have spring and fall virtual cohorts open for registration! Find out more and register here → https://lnkd.in/eMSESNJW

Vanessa! V-Dawg! The BOSS! It’s your birthday! We often ask ourselves, “What would we do without Vanessa?!”—and we mean it every single time. You’re the reason our programs run so smoothly, our team stays fluent in the latest slang, clients and participants experience top notch communication, & our office stays stocked with all our faves. But most of all, we’re endlessly grateful for your heart. The way you care so deeply and intentionally for everyone around you is pure magic. Thank you for being you, Vanessa. We hope you feel all the love you so generously give reflected back to you today. ??

It was great to be with GLSHRM Greater Lansing Society of Human Resources Management yesterday!
We are learning so much about Leading Through Change from Chrissy Heyne! We started by understanding more on resistance and loss while navigating change. Then transitioned to learning more on providing clarity!
