2nd post for the release of our common study with Digital Africa, with the support of AfriLabs. It appeared clear from our research that most SSOs around the continent are not designed (structurally, strategically), nor are they equipped (financial and human resources) to properly accelerate the growth of high growth ventures in such complex environments. A profound strategic and cultural shift is required. We tried to summarize this shift in 6 key points, illustrated by observations and good practices. Today's good practices come from INKOMOKO and 54 Collective. Both organizations excel in what they do, even though they do 2 different things. One supports refugees in Eastern Africa, the other is creating and scaling a unique model to invest in and support startups around each corner of the continent.
