African Liberty

African Liberty, founded in 2007, is a platform projecting investigation, news and opinion about individual and economic freedom in Africa. It is a platform for African writers to conduct investigative works, contemporary news, far-reaching interviews and incisive opinion articles that analyze contemporary developmental challenges facing the continent. We churn out stories that matter to promoting freedom and peace in Africa, and also to intensify a diversity of voices. We carry out these responsibilities through a network of writers, researchers and commentators. We add much-needed nuances and context to issues and expose covert issues that would have been kept away from the public. We cover topics related to human rights, free speech, economics, technology, police brutality, free markets, property rights, entrepreneurship and much more. African Liberty also provides a crucial and unique platform for predominantly African writers to reach a predominantly African and international audience.
