It's been a hot summer filled with exceptional gaming conferences, and the Canadian Gaming Summit in Toronto was an absolute hit! Not only did we host our inaugural African Americans in Gaming meet up, we also got to celebrate Juneteenth with friends of all backgrounds across the industry. A big thank you to everyone who joined us for a day of networking and creating new industry connections, and a very special thanks to Basil Williams Jr with SBC for making what was once a vision become a reality in Toronto. The term African Diaspora?captures the vast exodus of Africans, forcibly uprooted during the harrowing era of the Transatlantic Slave Trades, spanning from the 16th to the 19th century. It is a testament to millions from Western and Central Africa who, despite being displaced across the Americas and the Caribbean, forged a vibrant tapestry of culture. Amidst new lands, they blended the rich flavors of local cuisines with their ancestral traditions, creating a cultural heritage as profound as it is diverse.
