Last month, I, along with Seth Nyabocho, had the privilege of participating in the African Science Buskers Festival, where we emerged as finalists! ?? Our project, a school web platform, features an innovative online learning system that includes an online results portal, online shopping for school accessories, and a communication channel for parents, teachers, and students. We were honored to receive the 2024 South African Youth Engineering and Science Symposium (SAYESS) Delegate Award, and we will proudly represent Zimbabwe at SAYESS 2024 in Pretoria, South Africa this December. ???? Additionally, we were awarded the MILSET ESI Delegate Award and will be heading to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from September 27 to October 3. ???? I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Knowledge Chikundi and other organizers for making the event successful. Wow, what an incredible experience! I am still buzzing from the Africa Science Buskers event organized by Knowledge Chikundi and BROADCOM FOUNDATION. It was an absolute blast! Not only did I get to showcase my project, CYANO-COVER, a sustainable bioreactor that eliminates CO2 from coal-fired plants into O2 using cyanobacteria, but I also won a bronze medal! I'm thrilled and grateful for the recognition. But what made this event truly special was the opportunity to meet fellow science enthusiasts and project showcaseers who share the same passions and interests as me. We had so much fun exchanging ideas, learning from each other, and getting inspired by the amazing projects on display. And then there were the guest speakers..Charmaine Mutongwizo . wow! They left us with impactful words that will stay with me for a long time. Their stories, experiences, and advice were truly motivating and empowering. But what I think I loved most about this event was the perfect blend of fun and education. It was a celebration of science, creativity, and innovation that made complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for everyone. So, a huge thank you to Knowledge Chikundi, Broadcom Coding with Commitment, and the entire team behind Africa Science Buskers. You created a truly unforgettable experience that sparked new ideas, connections, and inspiration. I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us

We had fun on Friday last week launching the Raspberry Pi for Science Buskers with 20 students from Queen Elizabeth High School and Westridge Primary School. The Raspberry Pi for Science Buskers event provides primary and high school students with a rich and engaging set of activities in coding and physical computing using the Raspberry Pi computer.
