#ICYMI: With support from FSD Africa and in collaboration with Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) Zambia, we successfully held the the 5th #APSACONF2024 on 25th to 26th July, 2024 in Livingstone, #Zambia, where we had active engagement and participation from key stakeholders across the pension sector in #Africa and globally. Africa Pension Supervisors Association is delighted to announce its pan-Africa digital micro-pension inclusion partnership with pinBox Solutions Solutions. Zareena Camroodien, Chairperson APSA and Parul Seth Khanna, director of pinBox Solutions exchanged the MOU in the presence of Dr. Shem Ouma, head of the APSA Secretariat, at the 5th Annual APSA Conference in Livingstone, Zambia. Under this MOU, APSA-pinBox are jointly rolling out a series of research, advocacy and capacity building initiatives starting 2024. These will include ongoing regional roundtables and webinars, our 2nd joint book project for Africa, a country-level road-show on digital micro-pension inclusion, provision of expert technical assistance for feasibility studies and support for designing, building and deploying inclusive micro-pension systems and retirement literacy toolkits tailored for self-employed women and youth. The APSA-pinBox partnership is specifically aimed at ensuring a secure and dignified retirement for Africa's 600m young, informal sector workers including women entrepreneurs.
