For the six months ended 31 December 2024, AfrAsia Bank Limited reported a net profit after tax (“NPAT”) of MUR 3.2bn. The Bank's shareholders' equity increased significantly by 34% period-on-period, reaching MUR 22.3bn as at 31 December 2024. Thierry Vallet, Founder Executive and CEO of AfrAsia Bank Limited, asserts that: “Despite a challenging macroeconomic environment, we remain optimistic in our strategic direction. Our results for the six months ended 31 December 2024 reflect our continued business growth and robust balance sheet. Our lending increased significantly, and we have recorded higher volume of transactions as well as strong growth in our wealth management and card businesses.
