Living Our Mission in Texas! The heart of our 50-year mission: providing life-changing care to the underserved, was on full display at Affordable Dentures & Implants in the Houston area. Our #ONETEAM recently joined together to organize an event that included two days of hands-on implant training for dentists, led by Dr. Daniel Fenton, DMD, FAGD, AFAAID, DICOI, and supported by implant and supplier partners from Neodent, BioHorizons, Zest Dental Solutions, ONEderful Finance and Exparel. As part of the event, the Affordable Dentures & Implants - Pearland, Texas team opened on Saturday for "Extractaganza!", providing a full day of free extractions to patients in need. Overall, 9 Affordable Care-supported doctors from the Houston area and Louisiana received implant training, and 42 patients received more than $120,000 in pro bono care! Living the Mission | Community Outreach: The Affordable Dentures & Implants - Tulsa Hills, Oklahoma team joined together with local leaders at the FC Tulsa professional soccer team's home opener! "It was an opportunity to connect with local leaders who share our mission to better our community and have fun at the same time while raising awareness about Affordable Dentures & Implants' life-changing dental care," explains Logan Jeffcoat, General Manager, Tulsa Hills, OK. Hard Work. Resilience. "Don't Ever Give Up" Spirit. We are so proud of Lead Dental Assistant Paulina Ortega, Affordable Dentures & Implants - Brook Park, Ohio. This weekend, Paulina received the Dentrix Ascend Care Catalyst Award, presented by Henry Schein One and Christine King at the Women In DSO? Empower and Grow conference! Growing up as the youngest of 24 children in Mexico, Paulina watched her older brothers move to the U.S. and cultivated her own dream of one day "making it to America". With no formal training, Paulina made it to the U.S. at the age of 19, and worked her way through multiple roles in the dental field, continuing to grow and learn from others. "I did not know the language and was having a hard time," shares Paulina. "I cried every day and would talk with my mom. She would say to me, 'Hang in there, you can do it' ... I did not give up." Today, as a Lead Dental Assistant, Paulina helps Dr. Brian Redditt and team at Affordable Dentures & Implants - Brook Park, Ohio, deliver compassionate, life-changing tooth replacement care to patients. On National Dentist's Day, with gratitude, we celebrate our amazing doctors who answered the call to serve the underserved. ?? ?? Fifty years ago, two doctors?also?answered the call when they saw a growing need to provide denture care at a price their patients could afford. Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didn't sit well with our founders Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson. So, in 1975, they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice in Kinston, North Carolina. Today, across our Affordable Dentures & Implants supported practice network, talented doctors bring their clinical expertise to deliver affordable, compassionate, quality tooth replacement care, and change patients' lives.
