AHT is proud to announce the latest class of participants in the Emerging Developers Accelerator Program (EDAP). The EDAP is a 6-month training program designed to support underrepresented developers with comprehensive technical assistance, education, and access to capital. The program not only helps participants accelerate their businesses but also increases the supply of affordable housing units throughout the Central Ohio community. Courses for this cohort began in September 2024 and will conclude in March 2025. Upon completion of the program, each participant will create a comprehensive affordable housing development project plan to submit for funding. Projects will be evaluated by AHT underwriting standards, and if approved, they will be eligible for low-interest loans and soft financing via funding from the City of Columbus and Franklin County. Participants will also have continued access to consulting services after the program ends. To date, AHT has supported over $10 million in lending to EDAP graduates, which has helped create or preserve 97 units of affordable housing in Franklin County. The program is being funded with support from the City of Columbus, Franklin County, JPMorgan Chase, and US Bank. Click below to meet the participants of the newest cohort!
