Our 800+ local membership is a non-profit organization that has helped members advance information technology, communications and electronics capabilities. AFCEA Hawaii provides a forum for the ethical exchange of information between our military, government, industry, and academia communities to collaborate so that technology and strategy align with the needs of these communities. AFCEA is an organization that brings government, industry and academia together to share technical expertise and address community needs; we enable military, government, industry and academic collaboration. AFCEA Hawaii is for anyone in Hawaii with interests in STEM, Cyber, or gaining a better perspective of all levels of government in the Pacific. We welcome all military and professionals in both industry and government, as well as students and their instructors in academia. We aim to facilitate networking and engagement, host informative presentations, develop students and professionals, and give back to the local community and nation. "We will fight with prototypes and sustain with programs of record", says Marine Corps representatives at the MARFORPAC CIO Data Sharing Industry Day. Marine Corps leadership held a 5-hour industry day at TechNet Indo-Pacific on 24 October highlighting the need for further collaboration and partnership between industry leaders and the Corps in support of Project Dynamis. Project Dynamis is the Marine Corps version of CJADC2 and a subset of the Navy's Project Overmatch. The Marine Corps has expedited Project Dynamis with a Crawl, Walk, Run approach in FY24 leading to full scale experimentation throughout FY25. Now the MARFORPAC CIO is partnering with this program to kick off a concurrent 18 month pipeline focused on Data Sharing with Project Dynamis.
