关于我们

AETIS is the Brussels-based association representing European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) Providers. Our members enable road users – generally transport companies – to pay electronic tolls throughout the EU with one subscription contract, thus limiting cash transactions at toll stations or other points of sale, eliminating cumbersome procedures, increasing safety and improving traffic flow. In parallel, we also collect tolls from road users on behalf of the toll chargers and guarantee the toll to the toll chargers, who can then focus on road and traffic management.

  • AETIS and its members actively contributed to the 16-17 April 2024 Working Groups’ meetings of the EETS Facilitation Platform and the EC EETS Remuneration Study. These two stakeholder events provided opportunities to reiterate?AETIS’ key views: + EETS Providers must be?adequately remunerated for the services they render to the Toll Chargers. + EETS Providers?support CO2-based tolling?but need?appropriate lead timeto put in place the related data collection and user information schemes. + EETS Providers need?stable environments?in the Member States to be in the position?to make the necessary long-term investments. + The EETS ecosystem must be?a fair and level playing field. + The European Commission should get involved in EETS processes as early as possible. Thank you again?Viapass?and ASFINAG for organising these two events! #EETS #Tolling #RoadTransport #EU #UE #EuropeanCommission
