One of our key programs focuses on mining. We've developed a unique class of proteins that act like tiny mousetraps. When a desired atom, such as titanium or lithium, passes by, these proteins snap and grab onto it until we signal them to release. This breakthrough allows us to mine various metals in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner.
