关于我们

We have 2- and 4-year programs in automation & robotics engineering technology, manufacturing engineering technology, computer-aided drafting & design, construction management, graphics & packaging technology, general technology, technology & engineering education, and occupational safety & environmental health. Wel also offer advanced studies in our M.S. in Technology and Innovation program featuring either an education or enterprise concentration. We have evolved over our 90+ years at Millersville University with the input of several external advisory panels made of up industry and educational expertise that guides curricular decisions so our programs sharply focused on the needs of the region we serve and beyond. Our students pursue their studies in a modern 90,000 square foot facility dedicated to the study of engineering, technology, occupational safety and health, and technology education. It features 18 laboratories for hands-on experiences with the tools and processes our students will encounter after graduation. These labs are supported by multi-modal classrooms so the students can learn about a topic or process, then directly experience working with it under the supervision of our teaching faculty. Students can carry their experiences outside of the classroom as well. We have ten student organizations that relate directly to the programs we offer. These organizations provide opportunities for professional experiences, networking, and community service. Many of them are nationally and internationally recognized as outstanding in their respective fields and are fierce competitors in technical competitions. Our faculty focusses on student success. They work with regional employers to host interview days and information sessions. Internship are recommended for students year-round. Some of our students have found placements in companies like Tesla, Amazon, GlaxoSmithKline, Armstrong, Allan Myers, Multi-Dimensional Integration, Liberty Mutual, and Disney.

  • Calling all Pennsylvania K-12 teachers and students! This competition invites you to learn about sustainable agriculture in active, hands-on ways. Middle school and high school students will prepare a proposal to design, build, and test a hydroponic or aquaponic system. Elementary students will propose how they will use a provided aquaponics system to learn about sustainable agriculture. Hydroponics is the practice of using nutrient-rich water to grow plants without soil. Aquaponics is an extension of hydroponics that utilizes the ammonia waste that fish produce and converts it to something that plants can use as nutrients to grow. OPTIONAL ZOOM MEETING WILL BE AVAILABLE ON FEBRUARY 28, 2025 AT 4:00 PM EST. Completed program information available, follow link in first comment below!

  • Yesterday, a press conference was held to announce the Shapiro Administration’s new $200,000 investment in the Robotic Worx program here at Millersville University. The Robotic Worx program (in combination with Precision Cobotics) equips high school and undergraduate students with the opportunity to address real manufacturing problems through automation and robotics. The grant will create paid student internships and support training and supplies for the program in Millersville University’s state-of-the-art Solutions Lab. • AEST students and faculty represented on Saturday, September 21 at the Millersville Parade, part of the 2024 MU Homecoming festivities. This year's parade theme was "Dinosaurs, Dragons, and Mythical Creatures." Early on in the parade, Dr. Litowitz rumbled down the parade route in his 1923 firetruck crewed by a lucky bunch of AEST students. The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Student chapter came next driving their student-made competition vehicle. The American Society of Safety Professionals students were next, and they went all out with their interpretation of this year's theme for the parade. Dr. Bowers was on hand for the event handing out candy to the spectators. 'Ville Robotics brought it home and showed off two of their high-tech creations to parade watchers.
