Coming up on our 60th year, we have built our reputation on precision, quality, and exceptional service. Specializing in short to medium runs and quick turnaround times, we can make the parts you need to your exact specifications. With our CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers, we can create parts from as small as one-eighth of an inch to as large as twenty-four inches with absolute precision. We have experience machining hundreds of different parts (fittings, adapters, couplings, flanges, pulleys, and countless custom parts) from various materials (carbon steel, alloy steel, brass, bronze, nickel alloys, stainless steel, plastics, and castings.) Today was an exciting day for the WiM Indiana Chapter! Allison Transmission and Garrett Bray in Indianapolis were gracious enough to let us use their campus and conference room as we brainstormed ideas for 2024! Allison Transmission has a gorgeous Innovation Center and several displays that showcase their craftsmanship. If you didn’t know, Allison Transmission makes transmissions for school busses, city busses, mining equipment, dump trucks, garbage trucks and get this- their largest transmission goes into a M1 Abrams Tank! How cool is that?! Not only does Allison Transmission make large transmissions, they make everything to build those transmissions on site. That means all gears, flywheels, torque converters, etc are all made in house! Thank you again Allison Transmission and Garrett Bray for hosting us! WiM Indiana members! Be ready! We’re coming and we know you all are very excited to get things kicked off! This was the first time the WiM Indiana Leadership team has met in person and it was such a pleasure. Audrey Imes was a fantastic addition to our brainstorming team (thank you for driving over!) and helped facilitate conversation- which we were definitely not lacking! We were very excited to formulate what goals our WiM Indiana Chapter has and would like to achieve. From 10am-3pm, we discussed things that we would like to accomplish as a chapter with one main focus- our community, our members. We will be bringing you more information on up and coming events that’s we plan to kick off- one of those being a Meet and Greet with the Leadership team so you can get to know who we are and why we are so passionate about WiM Indiana and it’s cause!
