Employees from four venues—Terminal West, Variety Playhouse, The Eastern, and Georgia Theatre—along with local partners, business owners, industry professionals, and community leaders, gathered for a game-changing, impactful training session. Atlanta’s nightlife and business community participated in hands-on CPR training conducted by the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, followed by overdose training hosted by the Department of Health. The day concluded with a fireside chat with Mayor Andre Dickens, where he discussed the state of nightlife in Atlanta, the community, and the upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2026, which is expected to bring $5.1 billion in revenue to the city. On Friday, January 17th, AEG Presents partnered with the Save The Music Foundation to launch the 2025 College Connection Program in Cleveland, Ohio. Students and educators from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District had an immersive experience at the historic Agora Theatre & Ballroom. The day included a behind-the-scenes tour, led by General Manager Ryan Neuhaus, providing insights into live event production, followed by a panel discussion with industry leaders like Ryan Neuhaus, Chris Zitterbart (Talent Buyer), Brad Raymond (Director of Production), and Brooklyn DiFranco (Director of Sales). Wendy Cyrus-Herndon (Senior Director of Marketing at Radio One/Reach Media) moderated the panel. Afterward, students collaborated with AEG Presents mentors—including Sarah Downer (Box Office Manager), Rachel Miller (Production Manager), and Chris Congelio (Operations Manager)—to design their dream music festival. The event was made possible by the hard work and dedication of Leilani Alvarez, Anna Kinnison, and the entire Agora Theatre team, who ensured everything ran smoothly. The students left inspired, with a deeper understanding of the live music industry. A few weeks ago, AEG Presents and Goldenvoice hosted their second annual?"Camp Flog Gnaw Community Day"?at Dodger Stadium. Over 60 high school and college students joined our team for a site tour, panel discussion, speed mentoring, and more. In celebration of the festival's 10-year anniversary, the festival team hired 10 outstanding students who participated in Community Day to work with the festival's box office, accessibility team, R.Cup program, and Camp Guide team. This event reflects our commitment to empowering the next generation of talent and fostering opportunities for students to explore careers in the music and live entertainment industry. We’re excited to see these incredible students grow and make their mark in the field.
