As part of our commitment to MWBE programming, AECOM Tishman was proud to support and empower women during Women in Construction Week. As an Anchor Partner on the Advisory Council for Ascend Long Island, we’ve been helping foster leadership, financial growth, and market connections for businesses across the U.S. Ascend’s tailored approach accelerates business and job growth, and its Long Island program is housed at the ideaHUb at Hofstra University. On Saturday, March 8, the International Women's Conference at Hofstra University took place with Dr. Susan Poser, President of Hofstra University, delivering the keynote address. This event - hosted by Dr. Neva H Alexander of Nevalliance - was such an impactful event that continues to elevate women in the workforce and beyond. We remain committed to championing the next generation of women leaders in construction, business, and all fields they aspire to. #WomenInConstruction #AscendLongIsland #MWBE #Leadership #Empowerment #AECOMTishman #WICWeek2025

We're proud to recognize the 270 Park Avenue project team for their participation in Cycle for Survival, supporting rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. With 100-minute rides, 100 bikes, and 100% of every dollar going directly to research, the team joined thousands of riders helping to fund breakthroughs for rare cancers — contributing to the $32M raised so far this year. We're proud to see our project teams making a difference both on and off the jobsite. #CycleForSurvival #LetsKeepBuilding #AECOMTishman?

We are proud to share the completion of the Passive House retrofit of New York University’s Rubin Hall, the largest residential Passive House retrofit in the world. Originally built in 1925 as the Hotel Grosvenor and designed by architects Schwartz & Gross, Rubin Hall has undergone a remarkable transformation that combines sustainability with historic preservation.? ? The project included installing new windows, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, and HVAC systems, as well as a new emergency generator. To meet the Passive House Institute’s EnerPHit standards for retrofits, the building required a high-performance envelope to ensure energy efficiency while maintaining its historic fa?ade.? ? These upgrades not only ensure the building’s energy performance but also provide improved health benefits through advanced filtration and increased outdoor air circulation.? ? Our team worked closely with trade partners to align on the stringent standards required for Passive House certification. By sharing insights and refining the training process, this project sets the stage for more high-performance retrofits in the future.? ? Congratulations to everyone involved in making this groundbreaking project a success.? #AECOMTishman #PassiveHouse #Sustainability #HistoricPreservation #EnergyEfficiency?#NewYorkCIty #NYU #StudentHousing Creative Class 6 Tom Parsons Frank Polemeni Yogesh Chandrasekeran Daniel J.
