Today, Mayor Brandon Johnson unveiled the design for Satellite Concourse 1, a major step in the O’Hare 21 Terminal Area Plan, transforming O'Hare into a modern, efficient global hub. This project, built by AECOM Hunt Clayco Bowa JV, promises a seamless experience for travelers with 19 new gates and state-of-the-art facilities. The new concourse will support both international and domestic flights, boosting efficiency and comfort. The AECOM Hunt Clayco Bowa JV teams and Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) - O'Hare & Midway International Airports celebrated a significant milestone of topping out on our Terminal 5 Parking Improvements project at O'Hare. Our team placed the final beam on a new six-story parking garage which will include modern conveniences such as electric vehicle charging stations and a parking guidance system when completed. This milestone signifies an important step in the city's ongoing efforts to modernize the airport.
