AECI 2 NYC Charter High School For Computer Engineering and Innovation

Last week, I had the pleasure of presenting to a group of principals and leaders of Bronx Charter schools. I felt so at home. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Yvonne Guilin who graduated Monroe in 2020 and now works for the Charter association. Next I was greeted by Franscheska Abrue who works at the Charter HS for Law and Social Justice and is about to graduate from our human services program. My host was Santi Taveras who I first met 8 or 9 years ago when he was the principal of Dewitt Clinton in the Bronx. He is now the Principal of the NY Charter School for Computer Engineering and Innovation. He showed me his “Committ to Complete” wall which is long time Monroe tradition.
