These insights highlight the systemic barriers still present in the AEC industry. Yesterday, the AEC Unites Board of Directors and Talent Committee gathered at Prairie View A&M University for a day of collaboration, discovery, and meaningful conversations. Highlights included a tour of the Nathelyne Archie-Kennedy Building and the Fab Center, where we witnessed the innovation and talent thriving on campus. We also hosted a focus group with AEC students to hear firsthand about their experiences, aspirations, and ideas on how we, as a new organization, can best support them as they transition into the industry. A special thank you to Prairie View A&M University, Dean Soubini, Dean Borkhorn, and the Turner Construction Company team in Houston for their partnership and hospitality.
