Did you miss the grand opening of our new #EV #battery #recycling facility in Zawiercie, Poland last month? ?? ?? Check out this video to reflect on the day! The newly constructed facility can process 12,000 metric tons of used Li-ion batteries each year – or approximately 28,000 EV battery packs annually – making it one of the largest and most advanced Lithium-ion battery recycling facilities in Europe. Nearly 100 customers, business leaders and elected officials from Europe and North America attended the opening ceremony and facility tour on 19 September 2024. The deal is done! Last week, in beautiful and sunny Warsaw, the official closing of the joint venture process between our company and Ascend Elements took place. As a result, AE Elemental is now ready to start operations at full power. The documents were signed by: Maciej Dudzic- Elemental Strategic Metals, Tomasz Poznar – Ascend Elements and Marcin ?l?zak - AE Elemental. ? The Advanced Automotive Batteries Conference (AABC) Europe is underway in Strasbourg, France. #AABCEUROPE2024 Ascend Elements and our new joint venture partner elemental strategic metals sp z oo premiered the new AE Elemental brand at this year's show along with a showcase of our new #EV #battery #recycling facility in Zawiercie, Poland. VP of Strategy Tomasz Poznar and Chief Commercial Officer Ian Braime presented on the latest developments in engineered battery materials, including a heavy duty cathode (CAM) engineering project with Kevin Dahlberg and Freudenberg e-Power Systems.
