Congratulations to our heart and vascular team at Froedtert Hospital for completing their 150th robot-assisted convergent hybrid ablation for atrial fibrillation (one of the most common types of arrhythmia or heart rhythm abnormalities). The convergent procedure combines the multidisciplinary expertise of electrophysiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons and provides the strong possibility of an atrial fibrillation cure without open-heart surgery.
