"The Federal Open Market Committee (#FOMC) cut rates by 50 basis points on September 17, taking the Fed Funds rate to a range of 4.75% to 5%. The committee appeared to shift its focus from inflation to the #labormarket, and penciled in a steeper path of #ratecuts to come over the next few years than it did in June.
