AdventHealth for Children's Dr. Kattya Antenor knew from a young age that she wanted to be a doctor and realized early on that she wanted to work in pediatrics. Her favorite part of her job is the continuity with families as she's there caring for them every step of the way as the child grows up. ????

AdventHealth has invested $1.3 million to help renovate The Salvation Army’s 50-year-old men’s and veterans’ shelter in downtown Orlando. The shelter is falling apart, and this much-needed renovation will ensure homeless residents have a safe and dignified place to live and access support. The renovation comes at a time when homelessness is on the rise; in 2024 the organization saw a 38% surge in demand for services and serves as many as 15,000 people every year.
