The Pepin Heart Institute at AdventHealth Tampa recently successfully performed its first TriClip transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER), a heart procedure that can positively change the lives of patients in need. Dr. Richard Morrison, Dr. Eric Wherley and Dr. Robby Singh performed this low-risk and minimally invasive procedure, designed for patients with symptomatic severe tricuspid regurgitation: a condition where a valve of the heart does not close properly. Congratulations to these doctors and their teams on this impactful accomplishment!
