Alongside my work as a marine science and wildlife educator, I am excited to pursue a long-held dream and follow in my mother's footsteps by becoming a Figure Skating Instructor at AdventHealth Center Ice and coaching the SunCoast Synchronized Skating Team. I am enthusiastic about inspiring young skaters as they hone their skills on the ice, and am eager to travel across the country with the team throughout their competition season, where I will help lead and support them in reaching their figure skating team goals! Tampa Bay, get ready for a World Championship styled tournament with an NHL style draft July 20-24. Last week the AHCI team proudly launched a reimagined Prospects Advanced Hockey Camp revealing a "Forging Global Champions" theme which will feature specialty jerseys from six nations, all designed in house. Video 1/6 features USA vs. CAN, a callout to the highly watched NHL Four Nations Faceoff. The total campaign is set to include 6 videos that will release over the next few weeks to help drive sign-ups, brand awareness, and overall - EXCITEMENT for new concepts happening under our roof at AdventHealth Center Ice. #MoreThanAnIceRink #AHCI

Yesterday, we observed a moment of silence to show our heartfelt sympathy to the families whose loved ones were lost in the Flight AA5342 tragedy. We joined in with U.S. Figure Skating and other rinks across the country to show our support. Thank you to everyone who participated today. Our hearts go out to all of those impacted.

For the 4th annual 2024 Deck the Halls tree decorating competition AdventHealth Center Ice had the opportunity to fill over 120 wishes and raise $10,000 for this year's beneficiary, Friends of Joshua House Foundation, Inc. Thank you to our wonderful community for participating in this event and providing gifts to 30+ children in need as part of our Winter Wonderland sponsored by Florida Blue. Had a fantastic Pasco Day with my Leadership Tampa Bay classmates last week! We started at the Pasco-Hernando State College Porter Campus in Wesley Chapel, learning about the big impact of this community college. Next, Pasco leaders joined us for roundtable discussions on the area’s challenges and successes. We toured the Tampa Bay Water Operations Center in Land O’ Lakes—fascinating to see how water makes it to your tap! Afterward, we enjoyed lunch and a brewery tour at family-owned Florida Avenue Brewing Co. , hearing their inspiring story of concept to today. We ended the day at AdventHealth Center Ice, exploring their facilities, ice sports programs, and learning about Pasco County’s significant tourism impact. An eye-opening day—thanks to all the speakers and sponsors!
