#TeamAdvantous attended Texas Oil & Gas Association's Ad Valorem Tax Committee Annual Conference this week in Austin, TX. Bob Adair (Senior Advisor, Advantous) delivered an insightful Texas legislative update on filed and anticipated Property Tax proposed legislation. Today, during its bi-monthly meeting, the Board of Commerce and Industry announced that the new ITEP rules are expected to become effective on March 20th. The proposed new ITEP rules were submitted for public comment in January and are currently under review by the Legislative Oversight Committee. The Louisiana Tax Institute will meet tomorrow, February 18, at 10 AM CST. The committee will review key tax reform legislation from the 2024 Third Extraordinary Session and begin discussions on the 2025 Regular (fiscal) Session.
