Honoring New York City Workers – Last week, ACPNY attended the City of New York’s Health & Wellness Block Party in lower Manhattan, dedicated to celebrating the hardworking people who keep our city thriving. Our team enjoyed connecting with fellow New Yorkers while providing blood pressure screenings, sharing educational resources, and re-enforcing the importance of the annual flu shot—all part of our commitment to caring for the workforce that drives this city. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff for their service. Together, we can continue to prioritize creating a healthier future for every member of our vibrant community.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we spotlight our Hispanic/Latinx ERG, Presente. Presente is dedicated to enhancing the visibility and inclusion of Hispanic/Latinx employees through networking, discussions on impactful topics, and volunteer support. This ERG also provides a space for us to honor and celebrate our rich cultural heritage as a united familia. Fanny Greene, Provider Relationship manager and Presente member, has experienced the profound impact an ERG can have on the experience of its members: “I had the privilege of leading the Presente ERG from 2020 to 2023, and it was an incredibly fulfilling experience. It helped me become more confident in speaking to large groups, and I developed a range of new skills along the way.
