Executive Coach Nicole Provonchee, MBA shared why bragging is important, why women don’t do it enough and how to get more comfortable talking about?your success and achievements. Nicole encouraged attendees to use the Power of 10 Rule – take 10 minutes to write 10 things?you have achieved?and practice sharing those with friends and mentors. Small changes compound to make a huge difference!

Congratulations to incoming AWIN board member Carrie Stokes on her upcoming promotion to CEO of Barge Design Solutions. Carrie started at Barge as an intern in 1996 and advanced within the company, now serving?as EVP and chief of staff. Carrie has been an avid supporter of AWIN’s work since Barge became a member in 2023, and we look forward to continuing incredible work together.
After 15 transformative years leading Barge, Bob Higgins is stepping down as chief executive officer on February 28. He will continue to serve as chairman of the board, focusing on key client engagements and driving the firm’s innovation strategy. Chief of Staff Carrie Stokes will assume the role of CEO on March 1. We are deeply grateful for Bob’s leadership. Under his guidance, Barge has achieved remarkable growth and strengthened its impact on the communities we serve. His legacy will continue to inspire us. We wrapped up our final Better Together session of the year with an engaging, best-practices discussion on Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Thanks to Alyssa M. of AllianceBernstein, Maggie Willson of RSM US LLP, and Candice Witter of Asurion for sharing insights on how ERGs are driving meaningful change. Our panelists emphasized the importance of understanding employee needs, adapting strategies, and partnering across ERGs for greater impact.
