Powering continuous photonics innovation, investment, and impact in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
关于我们
Advancing Photonics Technologies (APT) is a regional photonics collaboration of universities, community colleges, industry, government agencies, workforce development programs, startup development organizations, and technology accelerators. We are a National Science Foundation Regional Innovation Engine Development Award and serve New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. APT facilitates, funds, and fuels use-inspired research, innovation, and workforce development. APT will supercharge American leadership in photonics, advanced manufacturing, and domestic job creation and retention. Photonics, or the generation, detection, and manipulation of light, forms the cornerstone of countless modern technologies that we depend on every day. Advances in national security and defense, aerospace, AI, energy stability and efficiency, medical devices, consumer electronics, communications, advanced and precision manufacturing, and more depend on light-based technologies. Photonics is to the 21st century what microelectronics was to the 20th century. It is the “physical AI” providing the critical infrastructure with which AI receives information and upon which AI runs. We will not only create, but also define our future by the diligence, speed, and intentionality with which we harness photons running through fibers, rather than electrons running through wires.

A few weeks ago, I had the distinct pleasure of being a panelist for PMG's Decade of Disruption event, along with Lindsay Fisher, Charlie Fiordalis, and Dan Conti; moderated by Sam Bloom. We discussed a wide-ranging set of topics about the future of digital marketing, with a 10-year horizon. Honestly, if I could answer that, I'd probably be on my own private island and remoting into the panel. Great discussion and great audience engagement. Oh, and Christine G., how about them socks!
