The City of Houston proclaimed March 25, 2024, as Crime Stoppers NEEDS Program Day. NEEDS (Neurodiversity, Education, Empowerment, Delivery, and Safety) underscores a commitment to championing the safety, well-being, and empowerment of the special needs community of Houston. NEEDS Program proactively works to prevent crimes against this vulnerable population and educates both those who live with and serve them on risks and safety solutions.
