I've gotta say, Total Tech Summit was so jam-packed with content, networking and fun that I barely remembered to pause for an #avselfie. What an amazing few days of #avtweeps connection we just had! Thank you so much to the nearly 150 integrators and consultants who joined a slew of top-tier vendors and distributors in San Antonio for #TotalTech24 this week. It's incredibly affirming to hear fantastic feedback about not only the opportunity for focused connection with key manufacturer and distributor partners but also the chance to catch up with old friends, forge new alliances and learn about topical issues to help integrators run their businesses better. I especially want to thank everyone who participated in the two breakfast sessions for Commercial Integrator Summit. Brittany DiCesare, CTS, Alex Fortin, CTS, DMC-E-4K, DSCE, Jarrod Hillman, CTS-I and Shawn Hansson did an exceptional job discussing the challenges and triumphs of leveraging an operating framework, such as EOS, for running your business. Moderator extraordinaire Charmaine Torruella kept the conversation moving, with our speakers covering lots of ground over 45 minutes. The next day, my colleague Amala Reddie took the reins as moderator, overseeing an eye-opening session focused on how AI technology can empower (and challenge) AV integrators. Three of our industry's sharpest minds when it comes to AI and machine learning -- Bill Fons, Jerry Blayne and Blaine Brown -- kept the conversation accessible even as they tackled knotty topics like AI governance and how to separate genuine AI from mere automation. Next year's Total Tech Summit is emanating from Orlando, and we can't wait to see the brightest minds in the #proAV and #resi worlds join us once again to talk tech, break bread, have fun and strike new alliances. There's simply no other conference like it. P.S.: Christie Mitchell didn't make it to the show this year, but we had to grab a ?? when we crossed paths at the airport!
